I
keep getting an plot range error message when I try to install the
Keltner Channel All Indicator onto the new TS Version 8.2 Build 3896
any help greatly appreciated.

addendum to my last message -
the reason for the plot range error message reads as follows:
Event: This analysis technique attempted to change the plot information for a plot which does not exist.
I never had this problem before on earlier builds.

thanks
so much for your input. I redownloaded the indicator and it did show up
on the screen but only intermittently. I trade currency (GBPUSD 5 min)
are there special inputs to show up properly for the currencies?
I
set round control to 4, then 5, and then 6 - still had sometimes with
no channels showing up around the price, instead saw only a staight line
and at other times the channel showed up clearly.

information on what the changes are from 4.2 to 4.5? I am curious to
know how useful it might be to testing a strategy to update the
indicator. I don't suppose anyone has a function or set of functions

loaded KC all into RS today. The indicator headers are in place, but
there are no values for the KC indicator in the RS. Values for price,
vol, etc.. are there. I presume I have missed something simple. Ideas? |

Your presentation is truly amazing.
Very informative I have really learned alot.
I have had your daily cycle chart next to the computer until I have it memorized.
Keeping it simple, has made my charts easier to read.
I have been able to intergrate ideas that have improve my P/L.
I
still can't say enough about your book list. I read a 1 1/2 books a
week and always learn new things. Thank you for your contributions.

Hi
can someone please tell me how to use the KELTNERSQUEEZE? I'm using a
52 tick chart of google. Would be grateful if someone can explain it to
me (maybe using googles 52 tick chart on the 25th April)
Also in the KELTNER CHANNEL ALL, I know what the red/green dots mean, but what does the yellow dots mean?

Tachyonv and Other folks who's interested in KC,
First, I'd like to thank Tachyonv for the KC presentation. it did
provide a lot comprehensive information which are good refresher and
have a lot of insights in this subject.
I wonder if anyone
tried to use KC to catch reversal or retracement? Even though I think
the current US equity is heading down in the short term, I still like to
catch a couple of intraday retracement since some of the financial
stocks are so cheap, and I think in a longer term, they are attractive.
Anyway, when I tried to use KC upper band as a way to tell
overbought indicator, I found it's hard to judge when the reversal will
happen. I found when the price turn back cross under the upper band is
most good indicator as a reversal, but the indicator is a little lag for
intraday trade entries. Another problem is to confirm the reversal
trend - I found the length of the candle, the slope of keltner channel
and %R all seems useful. I am a guy who believes simpler is better, so I
think the body of the candle is more telling than the volume, so I
intended to leave volume out of the picture in my intraday tradings.
Just wonder if anyone has any inputs on which indicators are more truthful to tell a real reversal than a false one?

Didn't mean to peek into your nondisclosed territory, but just a bit
curious - seems like you can make hundreds of millions $ tading with
that kind of system in a year or two. If you haven't achieved that, what
was the limiting factors, just from 2000 feet level? - the size of
trade lot could be one of them, what else had costed or limited you? |

Thanks for sharing! Sounds like if you would have developed the system
20 years ago with enough captial and modern technology, things could be
quite different. That's life - accumulating wisdom along the way, but
losing some energy and health.

I have a question. When plotting your version of Keltner channels I
observe the plotting of Cyan colored dots (during realtime) and then
they later disappear, after reading your documentation for this
indicator the only dots I am aware of are green, red, & yellow,
unless I overlooked something. Are these cyan dots of any significance.

Trying

Is
there a way to get the signals in RadarScreen to stay longer? Say to
the completion of the bar? It seems like they show up only until there
is a new tick in the underlying. Or is there a way to have the Upper and
Lower Channel Numbers show in RadarScreen all of the time?
